# Licensing & Access

Before you buy a VoltX key, you must ensure your base account meets the proper requirements. VoltX will not function without an active, properly configured Volt subscription.

#### ⚠️ Pre-Purchase Checklist

1. <mark style="background-color:$warning;">Before spending money on a VoltX key</mark>, make sure you have:
2. An Active Volt Account: You must already have a registered Volt subscription account and know your exact login details (`Username` and `Password`).
3. A Redeemed Farmer Key: <mark style="background-color:$warning;">Your Volt account must already have an active Farmer Key redeemed on it.</mark>
   * *Note:* If you do not have one yet, a Farmer Key typically costs [$9.99](https://voltbz.net/) per week.

#### ✅How to Buy a VoltX Key

If you meet all the requirements above, follow these steps to purchase your VoltX access:

1. Join the Official Discord\
   Make sure you are in our official [VoltX](https://discord.gg/voltx) Discord server.
2. Use the Purchase Command\
   In any channel where the bot has permission, type the command: <mark style="color:green;">`/buy`</mark>
3. Choose Crypto & Pay
   * Select your preferred cryptocurrency.
   * A QR code and wallet address will appear.
   * Send the <mark style="background-color:$warning;">**exact amount**</mark> shown.
   * <mark style="background-color:$success;">Once payment is confirmed</mark>, <mark style="background-color:$success;">your VoltX key will be sent to you automatically</mark>
