# Ram cap is not holding

Why it happens:

The Roblox instances are using more memory than the <mark style="color:orange;background-color:orange;">ram\_cap\_mb</mark> value you set in <mark style="color:orange;background-color:orange;">volt-headless.settings.json</mark>. This commonly happens because the game has progressed and now requires more RAM than before.

How to fix it:

1. Open <mark style="color:orange;background-color:orange;">volt-headless.settings.json</mark>
2. Increase the ram\_cap\_mb value (example: change from <mark style="color:orange;background-color:orange;">1200</mark> to <mark style="color:orange;background-color:orange;">1500</mark> )
3. Save the file
4. Restart <mark style="color:orange;background-color:orange;">volt-headless.exe</mark>
